My intention was to just have a little bit of fun with what the original poster said. I went back and edited the “silly nicknames” for you. However, I most assuredly was not mocking Coach Paul “Bear” Bryant.

It hurts for me to say this, but for all the great things that Coach Nick Saban did for Alabama football, he did the program a dis-service by not dealing with the SANK cancer. But then again, he knew that Tide fans would be "livid" with .500 seasons because of portal transfers in 2023 and 2024...

This about sums it up for me. I don't know if CKD has lost this team, but this team has lost me. It started last season when Saban said, "the team chose the starting QB." Born in 1960 and been a Bama fan all my life. Not the game I once loved.

That would be very gracious of CKD and the very least I would expect. I'm 64 years old and very, very old school. I can only imagine what Coach Bryant or Coach Stallings would have done. But as a coach, if a player dosen't come off the field when I tell him to, he never gets back on the field.
