WPW is not RBBB. Makes you wonder if he had Brugada Syndrome or just something else we didn't know about. Tragic either way.
You are right. He did have WPW, though--I read that in an article earlier. I think he had recently had an ablation to fix it. My husband has Left Branch Bundle Block and when he was being tested, I asked the cardiologist if that was similar to WPW and he said no, but right branch bundle block was. Regardless, WPW and RBBB can cause you to drop dead instantly. LBBB typically won't.

He had Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome which is an electrical problem with your heart. Means you have extra nerves firing in the right chamber of your heart. Also known as "right branch bundle block". He had surgery for it a while back but I don't think there is really anything you can do. It's a condition you are born with and can kill you in an instant. So sad.
My mom had WPW she passed away in her sleep at 59
