The celebrities certainly seem to die off in threes. My money's on either Lindsay Lohan, Elizabeth Taylor or Artie Lange to go next. Of course, you never can tell. That Heidi Montag or her freak of a husband, Spencer Pratt, could off themselves just for the publicity.

We can only hope for Heidi and Spencer to ascend directly into heaven in a white Rolls Royce with golden spinners.

I think you are right about her. She would be the most realistic pick for #1 in the next trio. I think she is pretty talented, but what a train wreck.
and she was decent looking at one time....now just a crack head (in the words of Don Imus, a nappy headed ho)

Nah.....she's the female Keith Richards...probably live 'til she's 120. Richards has to sleep standing up now, because every time he lays down and closes his eyes they start shoveling dirt on him. :biggrin2:

Rue McLanahan....Golden Girls star. RIP.
I think this is the right answer. The topic shall be closed.
Art Linkletter was close, but I don't think he qualifies. No one mentioned him at work, and none of my "friends" referred to his death on Facebook. Maybe it's a generational thing. Of course, this whole thing is subjective, so feel free to count him yourself.

Huh? Does one lose celebrity status as they age?

Just because there is a generational gap that doesn't mean he "doesn't count".
I would venture to say that Gary Coleman and Dennis Hopper probably both watched Art Linkletter (Kids Say the Darnedest Things}when they were growing up. I know I did.

The next thing you'll be saying is that Alan Funt wasn't a celebrity.

I remember watching Art Linkletter when I was a kid. But I'm an old fart, so I remember black and white TVs, when the first color TV appeared on my block, and the first clunky, 10 lb. remotes that came with my grandparents' new TV. I think the first color broadcasts I remember were the 1968 Olympics on my neighbors console TV.
