I think any 10-2 SEC should make the playoffs, but I certainly wouldn't put the chances at 99%. I mean, hope that's the case, but it just seems way high to me. I would say more like 75%.
Looking at the schedules, I don't see any SEC team at the end of the regular season with less than 2 losses frankly.

Maybe. I just wish the people making the decisions would stop this charade that winning the Big12 or ACC means anything. I agree that if we MUST have autobids, then conference champions deserve a spot in the playoffs. To guarantee the top 4 seeds to conference champions is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

This is ridiculous, even Clemson losing the ACC has a 91% chance to make the playoffs. The rematch wouldn't be competitive or enjoyable football.

OMG, if the final four teams are all from the SEC, ESPN and sports media generally would plotz. The meltdown would be epic if that happened.

Ran it again.....had UCF winning the Big 12 and Louisville winning the ACC. Meaning byes for both.

I'd say, as of right now, Miami is the favorite to win the ACC.

The Big 12....who knows. Utah....maybe Oklahoma State....maybe UCF? Who really cares. Their second highest ranked team almost lost to Arkansas.

But hey, they'll get a bye.

I'm pretty sure they will manipulate the seeding to make an all-SEC semifinal impossible. They won't talk about it of course, but we know for a fact they did it with the 4 team playoff. The 12 team version will just give them more room to maneuver.

Fresno State, Louisville, and UCF in the SAME playoff. Jesus...

Also, UCF beating Ole Miss lol. Is this a joke simulator?
Not only did UCF beat Ole Miss and make the final 4....they won the Big 12 championship.

At this point....I hope Fresno State makes it, Louisville wins the ACC and UCF wins the Big 12. Vandy is 2-0.....maybe they'll win the SEC as well.

They’re saying we can lose to both UGA and Tennessee and still have a 99% chance to make the playoffs? Doesn’t that seem absurdly high?
No. I've always thought 2 losses would guarantee us a spot, and we are most likely in with 3. I guess this thing feels basically the same way. This is with losses to Oklahoma, Georgia, and TN.
