Way to go Tide , what a game , total domination no question about it !!! Thanks to all who made this SEC championship possible , congratulations to the team , CNS and staff , and the fans. :BigA:

What can I say that hasn't already been said. It was clearly obvious that Florida hadn't played a defense like Alabama's since.......then 2008 SEC Championship game.
When you get CNS smiling and hip bumping, then you know you played a heckuva game. Maybe CNS should talk to CSC about improving his hops?
Whoever helped Baryshnikov with that first down effort should be given alot of praise. That was one heck of an effort by OUR QB to want the first down. That effort to me s
For Ingram, imo he is the Heisman winner after this game. What a performance on the grand stage. Lets believe he can repeat it on the Granddaddy of the all....Pasadena.

I wondered about this. They were going to give him the gatorade bath and then it never happened. I wondered if they stopped because the job isn't finished yet.
And congrats to coach JM for some really nice play calling. Kept 'em back on their heels most of the night. Upchurch nearly popped clean from the fullback slot on an off tackle play they weren't expecting.
Y'all, Fri morning dawned & my fairly new flat screen T.V. wouldn't come on. Totally black screen, so called cable co., left work when he came out, not the cable so called Geek squad...first available appt was Dec 11. Called manufacturer-would be Mon. Went back to work, called my husband, said let's go to Wal-Mart & buy another one, he said meet me there. Bought a 2" bigger one. Couldn't stand the thought of not watching the game at home & trying to find an alternative place to watch it (preferably without Florida fans' prescence). My 2 sons are ready to send me to the nursing home!! After all, I'm spending their inheritance

Mark Ingram may be the most-fun-to-watch Alabama player I've ever watched. He plays more like a pro RB than a sophomore RB. Here's what I say to this team: Thanks for playing with the pride of the generations of greats that have set the standard for all that is Alabama Football!

As one of the few on this board who knew it was in them to do it, I found myself surprised, but still not altogether shocked at how well they did it.
My hubby on the other hand, had to eat a bit of crow on this one.
It was said all week, contain/stop Tebow and BAMA can win. Question being, could they.
Well, BAMA did and wow. No amount of sideline pump-fist speeches could undo what BAMA did on play after play.
Dominate. Every play.
So proud and happy to watch this unfold, especially of our seniors, those who have stuck it out through thick-n-thin.
Bama as a team played a near flawless game, some even have probably written their names up there where legends reside. We even made their leader cry in defeat. No doubt he knows the pain of what BAMA players felt a year ago, in their respective locker room. Thank you Coach Saban!

Congratulations to an extremely well played game. Domination of all 3 phases, just like coach was been teaching.
I was really impressed with the improvement of our kick off coverage, and thank you PJ Fitzgerald for saving us on that punt return.

I wasn't overly surprised that our D was able to stop Tebow. If any D in the nation could do it, I thought it would be Bama's. But the Offense, wow! Did they step up, or what? We have so many playmakers. Our D made sure they kept us in the game. Our Offense made sure it DIDN't come down to the 4th quarter. Everyone said we still had our best game to come. I really think that was our second best, because our best game will be in 32 days in Pasedena!

Got back too late to post last night. What a great victory! The dome was rocking. It truly reminded me of the last National Championship game against Miami, as i watched the Florida crowd start to leave as we finished the long drive to start the 4th qtr. Saw the exact same thing from the Miami fans that year.

This was a remarkable performance in all aspects of the game. I knew if we played our best we would win, but I very much respect the Gators, their fans, Coach and Tebow. While I confess watching Tebow cry late in the game made me a little giddy, he is a class kid and has been a great asset to the SEC and college football.
As the game was ending, I called my Dad who is 87 years old and who taught me about loving Alabama Football as a child. I was so happy for the opportunity to share the moment with him and as I stepped outside into the cold brisk night air to get away from the noise of the celebration, I heard someone in the neighborhood screaming and yelling "Roll Tide Roll!". As we continued to speak abut this game and what a great night it was, voices from all over the area began to chime in with cheers and yells. One of the neighbors turned on his stereo and the sounds of "California Dreaming" filled the night. The sensation almost rendered me unable to speak as the sounds of cheers filled the night air.
What a great time for Alabama, the University, the Players, Coaches and Administration, all the way to the cheerleaders, MDB and Big Al.
It truly is GREAT to be from ALABAMA.
