Who knows what will happen. Saw him tweet he spoke to Rumph and said Roll Tide. Would be awesome to even get him in this class but seems a bit of a long shot. There is always that recruit x that slips in there like Kenny Bell so maybe he will be one.

that may be true in the past but Saban has expressed a need to change our D to keep up with the hurry up, a guy this big and fast could be a how Saban evolves his scheme to keep up with offenses that evolving to catch up to his system.

part of the evolution is in changing the scheme against those type offenses, i.e. 5 man fronts, collapse pocket versus full rush, etc...
...i still see Vanderdoes as a tackle; better use of his speed.
seems to be a really good talent, no matter where he ends up, though.

Yes he has said distance is not an issue. So hopefully that bodes well for us.
