I love the Lincoln Project, but this one goes too far for me. I didn’t take Trump to mean Liz Cheney should be executed, rather she is a war hawk who should have to experience battle before she sends our young men off to war. If Trump had said the same thing about Tammy Duckworth, that would be different.

I didn't think that was his meaning, either. However, I do see what happens within the loony portion of his base who have no qualms about persecuting or even killing people. Yes, I realize there are loons on "both sides" and two just took aim at trump. Those two being such nutjobs it's been hard to pin down just what was in their heads. Those kook types lining up behind trump don't seem to have confused or unclear missions, though, and he's been known to call them to do his bidding. I don't take his words of violence lightly because of that kind of thing.

Do you realize these people he said defiled America and they will pay are the same people he is now praising as patriots and saying he will pardon?

How is this video is anything other than harmful to your candidate?

And he absolutely did NOT immediately call out ANYONE to help!!! At all! He stayed somewhere and watched and let it happen. He called them out to do what they did! And he let them.

Except for the fact that he specifically mentions 9 guns/rifles aimed at her. The image, in my mind, is a firing squad. Why not say guns aimed? My two cents

The census bureau has found that in the 2020 census, they have overcounted some states and undercounted others.

• Arkansas (-5.04),
• Florida (-3.48),
• Illinois (-1.97),
• Mississippi (-4.11),
• Tennessee (-4.78), and
• Texas (-1.92).

And overcounts?

• Delaware (+5.45),
• Hawaii (+6.79),
• Massachusetts (+2.24),
• Minnesota (+3.84),
• New York (+3.44),
• Ohio (+1.49),
• Rhode Island (+5.05), and
• Utah (+2.59)

That drives apportionment of seats in the House and it drives the Electoral College.
Texas should have two more seats in the House while NC, Fla, Ore., Mont., and Col. should each have one more. Cal. Penn., Ill. Ohio, NY, Mich. and WV should each have one less.

Who was president when the US conducted the last census? (Hint: he's orange).

The "so what?" of all this, I hope we have an indisputable landslide one way or the other and not a nailbiter.

I agree, but don’t think it’s necessary to for the Lincoln Project to make an ad over this when others don’t get the visual of a firing squad. IMO, the ad may swing more votes toward Trump than Harris. Either way, I don’t find it an effective ad.

I think reasonable people can disagree on the style and up to a point on the substance of the ad. The style is more a matter of taste. The substance is more interpretation within context and history.

No reasonable person can claim it is not inappropriate violent imagery.

I have thought all this year that the Lincoln Project's Ads have lost focus and many times missed the mark. There doesn't appear to be an intense effort behind them. Steve Schmidt has said that many of the participants benefitted in a significant way financially from the project. He says he stepped away for that reason.

Maybe so, but if the new figures are accurate, they missed the population of Tennessee by 347,000. That’s like forgetting to count Knoxville and Clarksville.

It is absurd. Walker almost certainly suffers from CTE after years or playing football and boxing.

Also absurd is the suggestion of appointing another brain diseased man, RFK Jr, to a cabinet post over HHS. He is a conspiracy theorist who doesn’t believe in vaccines, and wants to remove fluoride from our drinking water nationwide. As a dentist who has worked in rural Tennessee for over 44 years, I have seen the difference in the teeth of children who have fluoridated water and those who don’t. The children without fluoridated water have more cavities than those who have fluoridated water. The literature is replete with evidence. I suspect RFK Jr is not getting his information from peer reviewed studies, rather something he came across on the internet. The guy is a nut.
