I don't like ND at all, but they beat us and have a better record, yet are not in the top 25 in the AP poll. Maybe they go by RPI, I don't know. Any thoughts?

The polls have been unpredictable and ridiculous throughout much of this season. Another reason that the RPI is more important than what a few coaches and sportswriters think.

ND's loss at South Florida (RPI=164) is still fresh in the voter memories.
