OT Arie Kouandjio has been listed in the 2010 Alabama Commitments and Prospects List (Updated 7/18) sticky thread at the top of the board every since he received the Bama offer. He has not been discussed much at all but now that he is visiting that will change.

Just a guess but I would say he is a little ways down the board at the moment. I would bet he is at least behind Damien Robinson and James Stone and possiblya few others as well. Could be a good fall back though he appears to be a solid prospect. But we are in a great shape with Stone and Robinson so I would be surprised if Arie ended up at Bama.

We have had a history of signing players from DeMatha High School in Hyattsville, MD. Danny Martz and Waine Bacon (although he was a walk-on) being the two.

I definitely agree with you. Stone and Robinson are the top two priorities at OT and Arie is down he pecking order after them. He maybe even down the pecking order after Demarco Cox. Even though Kouandjio does have an offer and he is visiting, I would be surprised if he signs with Bama. I think Bama signs two more OTs and then they are done with OL recruiting in this class. jmofwiw
