I noticed this the last 4 weeks or so, so I decided to see how we have done on the year. Our avg. TOP in the 4th quarter this year is 10:04. Only one game we did not "win" TOP in the 4th (ULM). This team has finished strong and converted first downs in the 4th quarter to run out the clock. They have FINISHED.

WI - 10:13
MTSU - 11:16
OM - 9:27
ULM - 5:30
UGA - 11:08
ARK - 9:48
A&M - 9:24
TN - 11:41
LSU - 12:12
MSU 10:02
CS - 9:38
AU - 10:29

What was the problem in that ULM game? Were we trying to save their coach's job?

Great stat. Our defensive depth and Henry's size makes the fourth quater a nightmare for other teams.

The 9 min. 18 sec. drive against LSU to close out the game was a thing of beauy.

it was EPIC.
ironically, LSU was the recipient of the very thing they love to do to their opponents late in the game!!
Les Miles historically loves to rotate 3 or 4 RBs off his bench late in the 3rd and or early 4th quarter to wear down his opponent, essentially imposing his will on them and MAKING THEM LIKE IT!! He did that last year, saving Fournette for the 4th quarter to demoralize our team. it didn't work.

it was the Crimson Tide running down their throats this last game and there was nothing they can do to stop it even when they knew Bama was just going to run run run....

I absolutely love taking the air out of the ball in the 4th Q. It usually means the other team is tired of being beat on and we have made their ... quit!
