They won't fire him after one year, but next year and same result he is gone.
No, only Allburnt is dumb enough to eat an $80M buyout.

The Who’s more rational - they stick with Kelly Rappa at least til he crashes through the $75M barrier.

And only pay it then when he agrees to legally change his name to Cash Coolio.

He gets the better part of three years, but the schools he beats over that time will probably want to put their own coaches on alert. The Milli Vanilli of “successful” CFB coaches.

How good is this Tennessee team? I know LSU isn't good and this was a day game in Red Stick, but that was still an impressive win. Even when you account for the hold LSU dug themselves with stupid mistakes early in the game, that was still a dominant win.

How good is UT? We really don't know, they beat a middle of the road acc team, a Florida team who's going through transition and hung on at home, and just skull dragged a bad LSU at home, now they could beat Bama anyone can but I don't think they'll hold us under 20 points

Vandy is up on ole miss 20-10 after we evicerated them a few weeks ago. I am starting to think you can’t read anything into the previous games and just take it one game at a time.

One game can be an outlier, but the more data we have, the more we can tell what each team is like. The body of work so far for Tennessee seems to indicate that this is a good team. This is the third ranked team they have beaten so far and this win was dominant. They definitely seem good, I just don't know how good.

I didn't see much of the game as I was out and about. However, I was listening in and heard them say that UTK was 14th in the SEC in pass defense. I don't know if that was correct or not, but I do know LSU quarterback play isn't good enough to take advantage of that. We will exploit their secondary and if our O-line has indeed found its groove, it'll be a good day.

UT does not have the talent on the LOS that we do, especially our front 7 vs their OL.

Hooker is a dangerous QB. They’ve got some good WRs too. But our secondary may be the best in the SEC.

Top two factors of the game: is Bryce able to play and do we as a team handle the atmosphere on the road? We can win with or without Bryce if we don’t have a truck load of unforced errors. And Miss State last year is still the only clean road game we’ve played the past two seasons.

My prediction is that it will be a bumpy ride.

The eeyores will be out in full force for this one. I would imagine that I will be yelling a few Tidefans no no words.

Hahaha, coaches have been telling people that forever. Gene Stallings said that if you dont think Vandy is a big game, try losing to them. Roll Tide!

Just off the top of my head this is going to be the first time both Alabama and Tennessee are in the top 10 since 1996.

This is the first time in the Nick Saban era that they are on fairly even footing with us excepting the 2007 game in which we still blew them out. Notwithstanding there have still been close affairs such as 2009, 2015, and even last year.

The atmosphere in Neyland at game time will be unlike anything seen in that stadium since maybe 2001.

Yeah it’s going to test our mettle for sure.

IDK. I didn't watch the game, and maybe listened to about 30 minutes on the radio. Heard all these comments about how Hooker was this and that, and should be in Heisman discussion. Then, I go look at the stat line. He was 17/27 for 239 yd and 2TDs. 🤷‍♂️ What's the big deal. LSU is terrible. I'm not sure you can glean anything from that game and even through transitive reasoning come out to BAMA has no chance in the game.

Our game was brutal from the fumbled opening kick off. I haven’t read this thread, other than this page. H Hooker throws a great deep ball and is exciting to watch. Game could have been closer, but frankly, our QB isn’t very good. Stats are deceiving.

I trust in BK. We still have a leftover culture problem from Ogre that will take at least another year to weed out.

Hope our promising true freshman left tackle is ok. He passed out at practice Friday and is being released from the hospital today. Passed a major medical test, but has another upcoming. Listed as dehydration.
