A-Day Game on TV?

Does anyone know if the A-Day game is going to be televised by ESPN again this year? I don't have CSS so I usually can't watch it on TV. I can't think of a better spring game to televise. Our stadium is always full. I guess I could see them going to FSU or something...everyone seems to think they're back.

"The University of Alabama will hold its annual A-Day Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 16, at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Admission will be free to the public and kickoff is tentatively set for 2 p.m. Further details on television coverage and events surrounding A-Day will be released at a later date."

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe if it was on ESPN we would have heard of it by now. I think LSU is getting their spring game televised by ESPN...

ESPN did quite a few games last year. Don't remember how early they announced each game though.

CL of ESPN says that they will televise the LSU and ARK spring games. Doesn't sound like they will televise ours live. I sure hope they at least show a tape delay or someone else televises it. I loved watching it last year. Anyone know any more details?

I think ESPN has been a great recruiting tool for Bama the last couple of years..I have no problem with it being on ESPN..

I wouldn't be surprised if it is shown on at least ESPN3. ESPN3 has been great for me this year, I've been able to watch many Bama basketball games using Xbox Live.

It may be shown an WVUA or CSS. The CTSN may do so as well. Either way you should make plans to be there in person if at all possible its a great way to spend a saturday in the spring.

So no AU televised spring game this year? I guess no one wants to see them without Cam and Fairley.

I am surprised we won't be on ESPN though (as of right now). We always draw a huge crowd and it truly feels like a gameday atmosphere for the guys in the booth which makes their job more fun. Oh well. Their loss. I'm planning on being there in person to help break the record.

If you have a chance to go then you should go definitely. It's an awesome experience and has helped in our recruiting in the past. Getting to see the EE will be fun b/c there are quite a few EE that could have an impact to this years team. I'm sure it will be televised at least in Alabama due to the success and ratings that the A-day has got in the past. RTR
