Comparison of A.J. Green to Julio Jones? Just watched Green's video and his skills looked equivalent to Julio's - looks like Georgia got a very good commitment. :aiwebs_006:

I think Green has been profiled as more of a make something happen in space kind of guy where as Jones is more of a possession guy. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Both are exceptional athletes and UGA has a excellent commitment in Green.
The biggest difference to me is the size and physicality disparity. JJ is 6'4" 210+ and very strong where as Green is 6'3" 190~ and not nearly as strong. They're both phenomenal athletes however and UGA has certainly got themselves a good one in Green. You couldn't go wrong with either one IMHO.
I agree.
JJ is more physically imposing and a lot stronger. That is the biggest difference in the two to me. Not taking anything away from Green, but I would prefer JJ hands down over Green. Physically, JJ looks like an NFL football player now.

Have you seen Julio in action? He's is a possession guy. And typically that possession ends up with an extra point after he gets the ball.
typically a possession guy is slow and unathletic .. but dependable....
THAT IS DEFINITELEY NOT JULIO JONES!
julio is the complete package if you ask me..
Yup watched him on the TV last week. Seems I was wrong about possession guys, but I was under the impression that someone who could routinely go up in double coverage and come up with the ball was a possession guy. Oh well my mistake.
People like T.O., Roy Williams, Calvin Johnson are guys that can routinely snatch the ball out of double coverage over the middle...but can also be home run hitters. And that's what Julio can be aswell
I agree I would rather have JJ, but I was at a game two weeks ago and watched Green beat the other team almost single handed. It was quite a show. UGA got a good one at a position that they needed to strengthen.
