We had 5 touchbacks!!! Very good considering that in 13 games last year we had 10!!! Saturday we had 5. Also, average yards per kickoff at over 63 yards means that they were catching the ball inside their 2 yard line. And that stat is not misleading since regardless of how deep the kick goes into (or out of) the endzone, if they catch it or it's a touchback the stat distance is 65 yards. Looks to me like kickoffs, an Achilles' heel last season, are vastly improved.
