Super Bowl: The Andy Reid Lifetime Story or Super Bowl: A Brother's Way (Kelce .v. Kelce).

I pull for the Bama boys, of course, but watching Philadelphia lose two major championship in a 4 month period is pretty fun, imo. Keeping those funs in a state of grumpiness is a good thing.
As much as it would pain me to hear Britney Mahomes and Pat’s brother sqwauk around like they did something, I still think the worst thing for this planet is for Philly to win another Super Bowl.

Goodness there are a lot of bengals fans complaining about the last penalty. They honestly think it wasn't a penalty? I will admit that there were some questionable calls in the game as a whole, but the last one is 100% legit.
If it wasn’t for all the other bogus officiating that Kansas City was the beneficiaries of then I wouldn’t have much of an issue with it. It was the right call on replay, but it’s one you are more likely to not call in that circumstance.

But then again what’s new? The NFL has made a habit of protecting top talent ever since they found out Peyton couldn’t ever reach a Super Bowl without help from the refs. It just comes with the territory at this point of the playoffs. Had it been Aaron Rodgers it would’ve been 100% worse.

The Conference Championship trophy in the NFL is TRASH. It looks like the one you make for your neighborhood championship game when you were a kid.
They used to look okay. But then someone wanted to change everything to make it look like a cheap fantasy football league trophy that you found at a junk store. It’s pretty much at the same time as when the Super Bowl logos started to look stupid that they went to that. Because I remember thinking like “what the hell is that” the last time we won the afc in 2010.

This is an ideal matchup. My wife is from outside of Philadelphia so they're sort of my default NFL team (my kids both have Carson Wentz jerseys). But mostly I'm rooting for them because of the Bama guys.

On the other hand, Mahomes is the best QB I have ever seen. I don't mind seeing a guy like that win a Super Bowl even though KC is one of the only teams in the NFL without any Bama players.

So it's a win/win.

This.

I couldn't care less how awful the fans are - I literally don't know a single Eagles fan.

If you were back in Florida you would see them.

ALL of them from EVERY team!

On Friday at Big Joe's Subs, I sat behind a guy all decked out in 49er garb. His group (of 4) were all from California. While I was waiting for my to-go order, we had a chance to chit-chat. It was alright. He shared some pretty cool stories about attending the last game played at Candlestick and some kind of anniversary event with Steve Young throwing passes to Jerry Rice while in their dress clothes. That kind of thing.

Then today, in the parking lot, some dude rides by on his bicycle in all his Eagles regalia!

I'm OK with all of it and no matter what the team is - it's always redeeming to see the passion people have for their team.

As long as they don't act like a freaking tool!

The media is all over the refs for this game but it's see no evil, speak no evil when it came to the Tennessee game.It all depends on if they like you or not.

There was an article on Yahoo sports earlier today that I cannot post here because of Tidefans profanity rules. It was clearly written by a Bungle fan. Highlights of the article
  • the last call shouldn't have been called at that time (so when should it be called?)
  • the last call shouldn't have been called because what if Mahomes cut back inside (anyone with eyes could see Mahomes was running out of bounds and the shove at the end proves that the bungle player was just frustrated.)
  • wah wah wah wah wah wah wah (ok that last part wasn't in it but I am close to the correct quote.)

I was working yesterday and didn't see the games, but....

....three of the four teams in this year's NFL semi-finals were in last year's NFL semi-finals.

What was that about expanding the CFB playoff to be like the NFL because "it will give us differen teams"?

It didn't - and San Fran has a different QB, too.

The officials helped KC in that game, but that last play was on the idiot player

Expanding did what it was really meant to do. More money. for networks and the NFL.

Although because of yesterday, they will probably bring back the emergency QB rule.

I have less of an issue with the personal foul play, and more of an issue with how the overall game was called. The extra play because the donkeys couldn’t keep time on the field resulted in a first down and changed field position. The game wasn’t evenly called. It felt like any close call went for KC but not Cincy. Keep in mind I hate Cincy.
