His teammate Victor Ellis also died of kidney cancer in 2008,he was just 28.I survived kidney cancer earlier in my life,it's an insidious diesease.RIP Ahmaad.

May I ask where the kidney cancer info came from? Not seeing that anywhere else. Rick Karle has a post on Facebook alluding to the school he worked at having a welfare check done because he didn’t show up for work. Marvin Constant spoke with him last week. No mentions of him being sick.

I know that Marvin and Ahmad were very close. Based on responses on Marvin's FB page it doesn't sound like it was a physical illness. I'm hesitant to speculate, but there's no report of AG having cancer.
