Starting in 2009, the Super Six in football will rotate between Tuscaloosa and Auburn:

Even though they kept the basketball in Birmingham, I'm sure the powers that be in Birmingham have to hate this. On the flip side, it will be a nice incentive for certain "key" high school students to be able to play in a legit college stadium for a championship.

When does the Super Six occur? During our season? Do we have to repaint our field the friday before an SEC game? What about the condition of our field, wont a high school game just about 24 hours before our games hurt the condition of the field? What about the NCAA?

It should be the first Friday and Saturday in December... SEC Championship weekend I believe. The plan I'm hearing is 3 games on Friday and 3 on Saturday.

The Super Six Championships are the same weekend as the SECCG, which means Bama will not play in BD again. Plus the AU game is not at home this year so the field paint will have two weeks to wear off.

Yeah... a provision of the deal is that in one year, one school hosts the Iron Bowl and the other hosts the Super 6.
