Ainge buildup on ESPN

makes me think we might as well not show up.

RTR

haha my sentiments exactly.
Ainge is good, he hasn't been sacked. Alabama has a vulnerable pass defense, but look for the game to be really close. how many times in a show does Corso contradict himself?

Did you hear Corso's lame statement that if Tenn. ran the table they were in the SECCG duh Corso the same could be said for about 5 other SEC teams including us. By the way Corso did pick Tenn. Thanks

I hope we smack Ainge around and pick him off about three times, but I am starting to go into panic mode. I just realized that, even though we are 3-1 in the SEC, we have beaten Vandy, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. Those three teams only have one SEC win between them, and it was when Vandy beat Ole Miss. We lost to a very average Georgia team that UT destroyed. I am hoping to see some magic today. Regardless of what happens, I have seen some things I like, and I believe we are on our way back. I just hope we can get back sooner rather than later, as in whipping UT's rears today. Roll Tide.

Ainge is good. Out of the two teams he probably has the most name recognition. Who else could they honestly talk about to a national audience that they would even be remotely interested in? I am not running down our team or Tennessee. This year Tennessee is not as good as expected and we are about where everyone rational thought we would be – a struggling average-at-best team with a new coach. That’s why most people, including most fans, picked us for 7 or 8 wins.

Hopefully Bama's D will smack him around a little like a rag doll!
He has not been smacked around yet this season, and we don't have the pass rush to change that trend. I am really worried about this game if we don't get some pressure on Ainge. I didn't see the ESPN reporting as hype - more as a focus on TN strength (Ainge) vs. Bama's defensive weakness (have already given up 12 TD passes)...

I did. Our O-Line, running backs and whoever else was back there giving it their all to protect JPW. And give HIM credit too. He knew what he was doing and slinging it around like there was no tomorrow.

It was a JOY to watch. :)

JPW felt the blitz a lot better today in the pocket and got those quick little dumb offs and some good blocks on some scrambles. and guess what? WE GOT WASHER FLUID. but i think i'll hang on to my ticket stub for this one.
