Yeah, but the jump between d2 and upper level d1 ball is absolutely insane.

It is but my point was I think he found the right fit and his HS numbers weren't inflated, he is a legit basketball player. Did we miss out? Probably not.

I grew up in Florence. At the time, UNA was D2 and won a national championship. They were led by a guy who was an All-American. He got a tryout with the Lakers but was cut. He later said he knew he was in trouble when the other guys could run faster backwards than he could frontwards.

I played football at UNA. I played numerous pickup games with the basketball guys. Was it like playing with Lebron James? No. Was it like playing with the best player you have ever seen? Absolutely.
