He hit the nail on the head in regard to Auburn's lack of offense. They have a lack of playmakers.

The writer says he is not an Alabama fan and you can tell he has at least a Barner slant to him. I could do without the CNS remarks in regard to Petrino. But how could you not like an article that says...

Alabama recruiting update: Currently No. 3 in both recruiting polls with 25 commitments, three top-100 recruits. Visit dates- hosted 17 top recruits from Dec. 4 to Dec. 10, and they will host seven recruits from Jan. 8 to Jan. 14.

Alabama will be the top recruiting class in the country - they will land top prospect, No. 1 wide receiver Julio Jones. The Tide will ink no less than 10 more top 150 recruits, all in the top 15 at their respective positions.

So even if the writer of the article is a Auburn fan, it goes to show that there is at least one "Auburn" fan who will give props to Alabama, albeit through gritted teeth. If he can recognize the fact that the TIDE is about to turn in the state of Alabama, what does that say about alot of Auburn fans, who live in the la-la land and basking in the glory of beating Alabama 6 times?

If they don't watch it, and put pressure on Tuberville, Auburn could find themselves on the same level as Vanderbilt within the next 2 yrs. Outside of Quentin Groves, I don't see any "NFL prospects" on Auburn.

I thought this was interesting
Tubby screwing around in NY for a week did not help, while Saban was pounding the pavement. Tubby trying to look like Mr. Big Time while Saban out doing face time with the top recruits. I strongly believe that he is telling everyone that there are 22 positions open this spring and that they are there for the taking and people simply have to get with the program, do the job and the position is there for the taking. I think with this class, and a top class next season, that the 09 season will be one that we can say that the worm has turned and Bama is right back in the SEC title mix, a BCS game and higher goals.

Good article and an honest assessment I think. Wait, from an Aubie?
You kinda get the feeling this guy didn't like the fact that Borges, ahem, 'resigned'.
