Former Alabama Crimson Tide running back Mark Ingram won the program's first Heisman Trophy in 2009, rushing for an SEC-leading 1,658 yards and 17 touchdowns en route to a national championship victory for Nick Saban's squad. Ingram finished his collegiate career in Tuscaloosa with 3,261 yards, earning him No. 7 position on the Crimson Tide's all-time rushing list. Ingram entered the NFL ranks as the New Orleans Saints' No. 28 overall draft pick in 2011.
