Tide Coach Kalen DeBoer says tight end Josh Cuevas is "making progress out there. Doing some work." DeBoer said they're "optimistic" about Cuevas' availability at this point. He was riding an exercise bike during the media viewing period at practice Monday morning.

Defensive end LT Overton is doubtful to play, DeBoer said. DeBoer has previously said Overton had a medical condition. DeBoer said Alabama will "continue to monitor" Overton.

Running back Jam Miller participated in practice Monday when reporters were present after missing the SEC championship game.
"Jam, he's been making good progress," DeBoer. "Just kind of continue to see how the week goes along."

Center Parker Brailsford and guard Kam Dewberry were also participating in practice when reporters were present.
"Parker is doing good, he's been practicing," DeBoer said.

Any idea as to what is wrong with Danny Lewis? He's been injured all year and I've heard nothing about what it is. Seems like he's been injured since he's been at Bama.

Based on Grubb's interview today, it seems Jam Miller and Josh Cuevas will play. Brailsford and Dewberry are much better also with their injuries. I think LT Overton is out for the rest of the year.

The first of 4 official CFP required reports comes out at 8pm ET tonight.

I am not going to mince words, without Jam and Cuevas, our offense will look average at best and it will be more difficult to move the ball. Jam is the best blocking RB we have and when he's healthy, the best back aside from Riley ( see the auburn game). Cuevas is one of the best weapons on offense and a security target for Ty so he's essential as well. the WRs didn't help with drops so if they can hang on to the ball, the offense will be much improved. go back and look at the stats against Oklahoma in the first meeting, the offense had no problem moving the ball. the 3 turnovers is what killed those drives. Overton will be missed, but the DL has been doing their job and the back ups are playing really good.
