This is my first time to do Game Plan on Direct TV and am not real familar as to what to do. Do I just put it on a certain channel? I've already purchased the package and the only thing I'm waiting on is when the game comes on.

Yeah, when game time comes up, just turn to the channel (770 I believe). You should be able to watch all the other games during the day as well.

They must have just added it. I checked the other day and it wasnt on the list. I guess I can just pick any o'le sports bar to watch the game now!

The way it works is this (as I remember) - there are a set of "ESPN GamePlan" specific channels, I think they were 770-782 for me when I subscribed. Basically, any and all games that GamePlan was carrying would be on those channels. The Alabama game would be listed as being on one of those channels. All you need to do is find out which of those GamePlan channels the Bama game is on, and tune in for kick-off. In the time that the Game's not on, you can cruise the other GamePlan channels and watch all the other games going on.

I miss DirectTV and GamePlan. I theoretically could get it through digital cable, but I think Comcast up here isn't offering GamePlan.

I know last year the black out area did extend into Ga. somewhat , but to what extent I don't recall.

Yo will probably have to wait to game day to see the black out map. I don't believe it will be posted until game day.
