10 SEC teams in top 25. Only Kentucky and Vandy did not rank in top 25. Top 2. 4 in top 10. 5 in 12. Pretty good bet that THE SEC is far and away better than PAC 10, Big 12 or Little Bitty 10 plus 1. Sick of hearing how those others were better this season than the SEC. SEC won 3d straight BCS national championship. That measures the leagues. The best teams. Get the best players.

Buzz: Alabama dominated its home state again, landing the state's top seven players. The Tide also landed the top prospect in Florida in running back Trent Richardson, a terrific safety in Rod Woodson from Mississippi and three solid offensive linemen from Georgia. This is the second consecutive No. 1 class hauled in by Saban and company.
