From what I understand, the 'writer' of that article is a known Nick Saban hater. He's has been painted as a hack that has been at Bama's throat before, therefore, not even worthy of consideration as a thought provoking journalist. At least as far as I am concerned. :BigA:

As an outsider (Arkansas fan here), I'd disagree with the article. Most everyone I encounter has the utmost respect for Alabama, their traditions, and they way they operate. Envy, yes, but not hate. As far as sheer hatred, I'd argue Florida and (for obvious reasons) Auburn. LSU isn't far behind, either. Florida fans seem like new-age Dallas Cowboys fans to me -- I'm not sure they knew that Florida had a football team prior to 1991.

Man, I really appreciate what Coach Saban has done for Bama since he's been here, both on the field and off. I am glad that other players/teams look at us as the team they hate to play. That says that we are a good a physical team, exactly how we want it. But, I'd disagree with this article that everyone hates Bama. If we are talking about players on other teams hating to play against Bama, that's one thing. But, I just don't see the "hate Bama" thing. There have been numerous discussions and stories about the Bama fans around the country/world, the power of the Bama brand, etc. Off the field, the overall impression of Alabama football since 2007 has been improving every year, and has really been nothing but positive since we won it all in 2009.

I totally agree bout gator fans. I hear it all the time here in Panama City. Theyve slacked off some in the last yr but they r way too arrogant. They feel that its ok for them to rag u when their team wins or ur team loses but "how dare u rag me when my team loses." And they were too spoiled wid tebow as well. Very nice for The Tide to whip em the last 2 yrs and if it wasnt for tebow converting a couple 3rd down conversion with un-tebow like perfect strikes it would be 3 in a row.

They also think the game is bout whistles n bells too. They dont understand that defense is what wins games. Another reason why folks dont like The Tide. They think its boring to win by defense.
