Question: Alcohol Sales in Georgia Dome for SECCG?

Does anyone know if there will be alcohol sales in Georgia Dome for SECCG?

NO. That is a SEC rule. The Clemson game wasn't a "SEC" game so there was beer at that one.

Why don't you just go to the drink and drown party that Superior Grill is putting on.
It is all the beer and Margaritas you can drink.

This dude sitting next to us at the Clemson game was so freakin' S**T-FACED it was ridiculous. I literally felt sorry for his girlfriend, who was obviously embarrassed by the scene he was making. By halftime, he could barely stand up ... but he still managed to make the climb to the concessions for yet another beer. By the end of the third quarter she practically dragged him away, probably for fear of him getting his butt kicked.

You can buy alcohol if you have club seats but you can't bring it from the concourse to your seats.

I've had Club Level seats since the SECCG moved to the Georgia Dome. Yes, the Club Level has beer and liquor sales (not sure HOW they get around the SEC no alcohol rule, but they DO), great food not available elsewhere (desserts are awesome), HD TV's in the many lounge areas, and the stadium seats are leather and extra wide.

BTW, I have a pair of tickets in the Club Level that I am selling on eBay. :smile:

They sold alcohol at he Virginia Tech game this year. I saw a lot of people drinking. They have Plasma screen tv's in the bathrooms...Way cool..DT_alc:

As it was pointed out that wasn't an SEC game, which is why they were serving alcohol. If you want to drink at the SECCG just sneak a flask in, it's very easy to do. :redface:

Yeah sorry buddy, you'll just have to get trashed before the game. Although, I highly do not recommend getting too drunk before games. You'll just end up going to the restroom 15 times and missing 30% of the game, lol.
