The optimism Hog fans had for this year was based on the fact that the only games they lost last year were to Bama and LSU. They kind of forgot that they got clobbered in both those games. The off season talk was always about Bama, Can we beat Bama? Can we be on Bama's level? After the opening game, the talk was how they need work, but still have two weeks to get ready for Bama. After last week game reality set in. Arkansas will always be the brides maid and never the bride. After this weekend, the talk will be, "wait till next year"

If you tell that to our fans, you'll get a litany of responses like "well take away that special teams TD, and take away that pick 6, and take away that long run, and you got a ballgame!"

I think it was vinnie who said they are practicing as if Tyler is playing. They won't take this lightly, it's the first SEC game on the road.

My Mother lives in LR and I have some good friends there. They love their Hogs. This spring I was there for a baseball game between UA and La tech. When I told the guys around that I was a Bama fan we had a great night, today the least. They want to win so bad NAND really thought BP could take them to the promised land. I cannot imagine how they feel...yes I can...I remember a few years ago!

A lot of teams who lose in a humiliating, embarrassing fashion have the oomph to bounce back the next week and take it as a serious challenge to obliterate their opponent. Bama has been known to seek vengeance for sure. I don't know whether to expect a team on a mission or one who feels beaten before they take the field. Either way, Bama will be ready for them.

Fool you Bama's attitude should not, Been there we have...your pain we feel.
