I mean, has this every been done before and, if not, did anyone ask a chemist what would happen?
According to the article, it's not uncommon for LEO to use a shelter's incinerator to destroy drugs.

Here's what bothers me about this instance: If everything is operating normally, the smoke should go straight up the chimney. Even in swirling winds, it just goes up due to heat convection. For the smoke to get inside the facility, enough to endanger people and animals--I the feds didn't operate the incinerator correctly.

Either that or a defective incinerator. After all, the entire German war machine fought WWII up on meth, including Hitler...
