Congratulations to Miller Forristall .... the 2019 Charlie Compton Award winner. This is an award given out annually for 55 years now. It is an award for best Christian example, as voted on by the team. The award has been given out each year on "Squad Sunday" at Calvary Church in Tuscaloosa located just across from Bryant-Denny. Many, many great Bama players have won this award over the years.
The award is named after Charlie Compton who was a Bama player in the 1940's ( also a WWII vet). He went on after his college days to be a missionary to Brazil. He died in a car accident in the early 1970's.

Roll Tide!!
