Who is telling the truth????????????????????? Everything points to SOS.........he signs an extension. Then it points to NS.......he meets with owners and team today to reassure them he's staying-----denies interest to the point of aggravation. RR's name has been in the mix almost since day 1.............he repeatedly says he's staying at WVand claims he has not been contacted by anyone. Sorry if I seem impatient, but it sems like everything we think to be true gets snatched away. So who's lying??? Who's telling the truth??? Have we contacted anyone??? What's going on in T-Town???:conf2:

Its a MAD MAD MAD MAD MAD T-TOWN! :biggrin2:

Its coach speak, no one is ever going to say "yes, I am interested in Alabama", its a thing called contracts.

I understand this, but a couple of them should go to Hollywood 'cause their acting skills are pretty good!

I'm thinking this may be a good omen with MM taking so long. What will be depressing would be to take so long and then still come up with a loser. I still don't think they can pick someone that will come in here waving a magic wand and we will jump to the head of the SEC next year. This is still goingto be a long drawn out process getting back to where we are accustomed to being, the SEC is too strong and we are still suffering from the NCAA sanctions. I'm looking forward to us being on top by 2009 maybe.:BigA:

This is the way nearly every HC search goes anywhere - there are candidates that bounce in and out of contention until there is a clear announcement coming.

FWIW, I think we're in the home stretch. And frankly 2 weeks ain't all that bad to find a guy to fill a $1.55M/year job opening.

Look how long it takes corporations to find new CEOs.
