I agree, Ole Miss is his likely destination. Robinson has not said much about his recruitment here lately and he isn't showing up on any Alabama visit lists. My guess would be Ole Miss. He's from Olive Branch, and he is visiting them last before he commits. But I don't think we are going after him very hard. Were going after Stone and Arie hard. We will hopefully close with them.
I hear that Stone and Kouandjio are our top two tackles or OL on our board.. and if it comes to it.. Shon is our if we need/want him.I'm liking his teammate, Shon Coleman, more and more. He seemed very interested in Alabama at one point, but is committed to Auburn right now. He shot up the rankings after his performance in the US Army All-American game.
I keep reading that from various posters, so I believe it, but what is the story behind the belief that Shon would just drop AU and commit/sign with us simply if offered? I'm not trying to sound sarcastic (because I believe it, based on the posters saying it), but why is that the opinion?Shon is our if we need/want him.
I certainly agree that Arie Kouandjio and James Stone are the top two guys on the board, but I really like Shon Coleman. However, in the end, Alabama will end up with a great offensive line haul.I hear that Stone and Kouandjio are our top two tackles or OL on our board.. and if it comes to it.. Shon is our if we need/want him.
Longtime Bama fan. Actually the latest from Shon Coleman is that Bama is no longer included among his favorites. He said that his top five was Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss, Miami and Tennessee at the USAAA Bowl game. He said that he plans on taking his five official visits to them. I doubt that Tennessee is still on that list and it remains to be seen what team will replace them if any. Unless something changes I don't see him visiting Bama.Longtime Bama fan. We didn't pursue him in the beginning but now that we are recruiting him more&
I hope you are right. I do have confidence in the staff and feel safe they land two of these guys. It shows you how much they think of Arie. Coleman was wanting to come to Bama bad and now he is a 5-star. It shows you the eye for talent they have that sometimes stars do not matter. Like I said, whoever they go after, I trust them to make the right call for the program.Stone is a silent commit.. We want Arie something fierce.. If we don't get Arie, we WILL get Coleman
Ahhh, well you guys cleared that up for me. Thanks! I did not trealize he was a Bama fan at heart.Yeah my last post was kind of a half thought because I was side tracked but you are essentially right CS. But at one point in the process if we wanted Coleman we could have had him. But obviously our staff feel very good about our positions with Stone and Arie which are the top 2 on our board. Coleman likely knows he is not gonna end up at Bama because of this and has dropped us down his list.
