having lived in the state of Mississippi for 17 years, this one is a guilty pleasure. Particularly because I'm not really a fan of either team but I know plenty of friends who are fans and graduated from both schools.

Most Black Bear and Bulldog fans I know have always been obnoxious to be around when they have decent teams. Otherwise, they turn to professional sports and support their favorite players. Bulldogs fans cheer for the Cowboys because of Dak Prescott, and Black Bear fans used to cheer for the Giants because of Eli.

I'm pulling for the Dawgs this year because a win makes them bowl eligible but I don't really care either way.

I may watch some of it, probably just the 1st half. I think Ole Miss wins by double digits. Is it at Ole Miss or Miss State? If at Miss State, I'll probably watch on mute. I don't even like listening to cow bells on tv. lol

Ole Miss win helps keep our SOS I'd guess (I don't think the committee is looking at that this year), but if a win gets Miss State bowl eligible, then that would be good too.

Rogers returned last week for State and they finally scored some points. Yeah, I know it was against Southern Miss but still I think they can score some points tonight and keep the game competitive for a while.
