Lawarence Phillips former NFL and Nebraska Star never did get it right. He has seen jail time six times. He is not one of the 4 percent (offenders) to get help and and stay the course. 96 percent never stop.

Phillips has a history of high-profile trouble with the law going back a decade to his time as one of the nation's top college football players at Nebraska.

The Los Angeles Rams released him for insubordination in 1997 after he played 25 games with them. Phillips signed with the Miami Dolphins later in the 1997 season, but was released after pleading no contest to hitting a woman in a nightclub.

Lawrance Phillips once hit and beat his girl friend in College. He pulled her down steps by her hair. He assaulted two woman in a Night Club in St. Louis. He run down three teen age boys after a pickup football game in his car. He even assault his aunt when he was 18. He also beat up a woman in a night club in Miami.

Lets not forget OJ. It started with his first wife. OJ has never got it right either.

Coach Petrino did the right thing.
