Arkansas Game 2

This is the gooberhead that wanted to start a fight with DiFazio!

Bama down 5-1 in the 4th after another terrible outing from Del Howell. Nelson in to pitch.

Howell has obviously lost it completely (an understatement). At this point, he cannot be considered any more reliable than Nelson, Head, Evans, or any of the others. He went from evoking Steve Carlton to start the season to pitching more like Steve Guttenberg over the past three weeks.

Another gutsy come from behind win. Key homers from May and Matthes. Good job by Nelson to hold the Hogs during the middle innings to give us a chance. Peanut comes in to close it out. As I said yesterday, this is getting very interesting.....

I wasn't able to go to the game today. What happened between the gooberhead pig and DiFazio?

He was thrown out, 9-4-2 on a double from first. He tackled DiFazio who held onto the ball. Chris Stewart said he came up and asked DiFazio, "Do you want a piece of me?" DiFazio responded with something to the effect of "no, I want the whole thing" which led to a benches clearing argument. Nothing came out of it though...no punches, no ejections.

Thanks for the info. Hate I missed seeing that. Are teams not going to learn that running Matthes is not a good idea?

Let's see...DiFazio is a couple of inches taller and has about 40 lbs. on Timmy Carver (who looks like the degenerate love-child of Jim Nabors and Alfred E. Neuman). I'll take our old paisan Vinny in that one.
