Huge crowd last night for the annual ATL visit by CNS, Eli Gold, and this year even Anthony Grant. 7-800 folks. The Engineering school Dean, Chuck Carr is always an incredible speaker as well. He can get you fired up in a heartbeat about The Capstone and the great things going on in T-Town. The University is truly in great hands on all fronts and continues to get better and better each year.

A real treat was having new ATL Falcon Javier Arenas there as a special guest and he was nice enough to sign autographs/take pics afterwards. Seemed like a First Class guy.

The one thing that stood out to me was that CNS (as he's said in the media this spring) that this year's team may have better internal leadership through relationships that are developing between upperclassmen and the youngsters. That seemed to be lacking a BIT last year from what I can tell.

I will say this: CNS took full responsibility for whatever things went wrong at the end of last year and it sure is nice having to be a tad disappointed at an 11-2 season/beating two huge rivals in LSU- UT rather than hearing your Coach talk up a 8-4 season.

Dr. Carr must be something else. Whoever hired him may not have realized exactly all that the University was getting.
