The Braves and Ozzie Albies seemingly can’t buy a break these days. Ozzie fractured his left wrist (again) last night in game versus the Nationals. Many are suggesting that this may do it for Ozzie in Atlanta and the Braves may look to move on from him.

Except he sounds very wishy washy about retiring right now with the "bad taste" and not wanting to go out like this comments. I hope the club doesn't leave it up to him.
AA needs to make the decision for him. Basically ask Snit how he wants his career to end? Retire with the bad taste of a disappointing season or have the bad taste from “the organization retiring you” after 40+ years?
The better choice for all concerned is the former.

Braves won their 10th in a row yesterday.

In the previous 9 they:

Hadn’t lost
Hadn’t committed an error
Hadn’t scored fewer than 5 runs
Hadn’t given up more than 5 runs

No team in MLB history had ever done that over a 9 game span.

Too late obviously but that’s quite a run.

Of course, this run is impressive. It's just hard to get excited about it. Great, the team finally wakes up for the final 2 weeks of the season. Thanks for nothing.

It would be like Bama going 2-8 to start the season and then winning the final 2 games 50-0. Nice, but who cares at that point?
Snit would probably say “It’s still early. The pieces are starting to come together. Wait…what…we’ve been eliminated? Dang we were so close….”

I quit looking at the standings after they fell 20+ games behind.

Just looked and they are still 17.5 GB and have already clinched a losing record.

I was surprised to see that it appears not one single team in MLB can reach the 100 win mark.

Looks like there was a ton of parity across MLB in ‘25

So who are Braves fans pulling for since we suck?

Personally I could stomach
1. Brewers
2. Cubs
3. Cleveland only because it has been so long for them even though I hate their new name. Plus, I was a big fan of Major League.
I’d be alright with the Cubbies winning one for Ryne Sandberg.

For AL teams I’d say Toronto or Seattle are the least objectionable choices for me.

I wish the Braves would move on from Snit more than Albies.
Snit was asked about what happens after the season last night. Based on his meandering answer, I think he will not be with Braves next year. Here's hoping if that's the case, we get somebody who can light a fire under these guys next year. They have the talent. It's been wasted the last 2 years through underperformance. These last 10 games winning streak showed what they can do. Not sure why they couldn't do it earlier when it mattered.
