A Message to the Auburn Family about Auburn Football

The Auburn spirit is part of everything we do – in the classroom and beyond. It includes the spirit we show when we support those who represent us on the playing field.

Later today, Auburn students and the local community will gather to cheer on the football team as they practice. I encourage others to follow their example by coming together and getting behind the young men who wear the orange and blue each fall Saturday.

In the past few weeks, many of you have contacted me, and I appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share your thoughts about the football program. I know your concerns are sincere and heartfelt, and I share many of them. As we do every year, the football program will be evaluated in an objective, thorough and professional process.

For everything there is a time, and now is the time to support. The young men and women – our students – who make up Auburn University are grateful for the dedication of their extended Auburn Family. So am I.

At Alabama you have to get a personalized, very selective invitation to come to practice. At Auburn you get begged to please show up....LOL.

I think it's pathetic!! Is this really going to help motivate the players? I would think their minds need to be in the practice and not whats going on around them. Seems to me like they are just shooting themselves in the foot. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying every single second of it!

Allow me to translate a little further on your Great analysis:

Im back from my 3 month vacation ate enough lobster to where it taste like soap now. Please send money that is what I mean by support, we have not been able to meet payroll since our $180k payout. We had to do some cut backs with some relly talented players with criminal records because we run out of legal funds. Although we let go a good DC we got a new one with a great supply of fresh porn, definitely an upside.

I can't tell you what we are going to do because Pat Dye has not told me yet, as soon as he sobers up we should get thumbs up or down on our current coach.

This is so stupid on so many levels...first, any coach worth his salt does not allow fans at practices because that is what the games are for. Second, how do you expect the players to listen to you when people are everywhere? Third, it shows a total loss of control by Chiznip for him to allow this to happen. The dumpster fire is getting more intense.
