Was he expected to contribute this year/ in the next few years? I may be totally wrong since I don't know the circumstances, but this seems like a tactic to make room for their 2010 signees, or are they not hurting for space in their 85?

I guarantee you there will be no explanation from the barn coaching staff. This is about the 4th dismissal the AU coaches have made in the past year, and no one knows why. The media will not follow up on it either. Now if it was Alabama...

Looks like they are working hard to keep the 50% divorce rate in their "family". :conf2:

But yet, I'm sure Dem Dare fans on da planes will say (like the rest of college football and media) that Bama cut's players just to get down to 85 schollys.

LMAO and the hits just keep on coming.......
That is exactly what I thought. Since this is now truly Chiznik's team, would not all the losses from this year count against him?

Also, I thought Rollison was the savior of Auburn football, or did they transfer that title to Cam Newton? It seems Auburn can bring the talent to the Plains, just can't get them to stick around for four years. By the way, no mention of Aycock, Rollison, or even Spence Region on the Auburn boards I saw. Denial...?

Coaches rarely reveal which rule was violated by a player, but I heard he STOLE Cam's laptop. Lol.

Hate it for the kid. I think he may have gotten some meaningful touches this year.

If Chiz says he's got to go, then I trust that.

I hope we enjoy a better retention rate than we did under Tubs... and believe that we will.

Amazing but it gives Cheese stick a "young" excuse again for the Booger fans..

In all fairness, I wonder how may people are left from our 2006 and 2007 classes.

Here is an article from Chris Low about how experienced Auburn is going to be this year on defense. Auburn actually is experienced they just have a tremendous lack of defensive depth. It also has some classic gems from Josh Bynes who continues to believe that Auburn is ready to win championships.

This is slightly different since Aycock is from their 2009 class and is a Chizik recruit. The classes you referenced were not recruited by Saban (exclusively). It is also a little different because this was a young guy and as the previous post showed they have had close to ten players worth of attrition every year including their most recent class.

Sorry was trying to quote the guy referring to the Bama 2006 and 07 classes.
