Auburn vs. Arkansas

At Arkansas, Auburn wins by 2 td's. If it's an 11:00 game, Arkansas wins. If it rains, Arkansas wins. If there is a split in the NASCAR field at Talladega tomorrow, Auburn wins. If I am late to the airport tomorrow, I'll be out of work on Monday, and Auburn will win.

My drift is that it's impossible to tell this season. No way I would have believed that USF would have beaten Auburn. No way we should have blown our lead against Arkansas, and then come back to win.

It's impossible to guess. Senseless. I'm staying AWAY from betting odds the rest of this season. But, just for fun, I'll call Auburn, 25-22.

As bad as i hate to say it, i think the barn will win. Every since Tubs introduced Cox to the pine, it opened Cox's eyes and Barn has been playing good football.

The team who executes. The team who holds on to the ball. The team who controls the TOP. Uh, I don't have a clue and if I made my living gambling I would be starving to death this year. But Agbarn has the better team I think.

Depends on which teams show up in Fayetteville. Based on both teams most recent play which, as we are seeing in the SEC, is no predictor of the outcome I would think the Aubs win. Their defense is playing solid and Borges has his offense in sync and Cox is finding a bunch of wide open receivers. Gotta believe AU wins.

The injuries continue to mount at AU. Bosley, the center went down yesterday. Starting 3 freshmen on the O-line says there isn't a lot of flexibility in the depth. Don't know the extent of his injury, but any injury hurts a lot right now.

If Nutt had two weeks to prepare for the game it might have been a good one, but I can't see how this will be a competitive game. Barn will win pretty convincingly I believe.

How good is Auburn against the run? That's all that matters really in stopping Ark.

I think Auburn will win in a romp. Auburn's D should be able to slow McFadden and Jones and since AU has found an offense, they'll have no problem hanging 35-40 on Arky's poor D.

I said before the season started that Arkansas wouldn't win more than 7 games. I even have a pretty hefty bet with a good friend of mine who's an Arkansas fan. This will be one of their losses.

I think the Pigs have a good shot. AU's defense is very fast and solid, but they seem to struggle against big, physical running teams like the Pigs and Wisconsin. The moral of the story is that you can't outrun speed, you have to run right at it. I think the Pigs can get it done, but who knows what will happen during a season like this. The only thing that seems certain is that Bama will look pretty good one minute and look like crap the next.

I mentioned AU's injuries. Also heard that McFadden hurt his ribs. Have y'all heard anything along that line?

Not that he is the only running threat that Arky has, but he is in a different spectrum.
