Bama OL vs. LSU DL

Since we had beginning of the season struggles, we came on strong during the season. However, this is suppose to be our toughest test to date. If we are to handle the Tigers front then we win going away. What are our chances to do so?

I'm thinking trent has a night to rival alexander's 1996 (?) performance.

Typically it's the Dline that tires out and needs to rotate, not the other way around. It's a lot easier to block than to beat a block.

Pretty good article on the lines here: http://www.tigalaya.com/blog/28/entry-802-the-big-ugliestrack-stars-around-the-end/

If y'all are able to handle our d-line then we are in for a long day as I expect your power to beat our speedy linebackers.

Indeed. This is something both of our teams have exhibited in recent years. Wearing out lesser competition as the second half progresses.

True, and that is where LSUs depth should help some. I think TR gets his share of yards. LSUs D has given up yards but not points especially if the kicking game can create a longer field for 'Bama.

If TRs yards are between your 20 and our 30 then I'm not too worried. If TR doesn't have others getting yardage alomg with him then I'm not too worried. If Bama get passing yardage to boot, then I worry.

That was a very good read, and pretty darn accurate!

I still have this gut feeling this game will come down to, a TURNOVER, something that neither team has done with any kind of regularity!

Just hope and pray for an injury free game, no matter the outcome!

Thanks for the links. The other articles there are pretty good, too. Interesting reads.

Does anybody know if that is the same Fishhead that posts here on occasion?

Do you know who does the article you have. That is a pretty good read.

We have a staff of writers there.

The article linked to is by the same Fishhead that posts on here. He and I, along with many others, will be out on campus Saturday hosting a large Tigalaya tailgate!

As you can see in reading the article, he knows players around the SEC really well!
