Bama-San Jose St. TV??

Finally, this a.m. I found it. However, I was told to go to 102 for PPV & I finally saw other games listed for Sat. but not AL so then I went to 100 & saw it listed on 101 & I ordered it. Whew! I was getting worried.....

This thread had dropped off the front page so I put the update in the thread below but I see you found it.

Don't even get me started about paying $35 for an SD game to watch on a 56" DLP LED HDTV

For anyone in the Pensacola area the game in coming channel 602 and with the purchase you get access to the channel for 24 hours so you can watch all of the games that will be shown on there.

Just wanted to let those in the Shoals area know, I just ordered the PPV on comcast this morning. If you order today it is $16, don't know what it will be if you wait til tomorrow to order.

I was wondering because I'm not gettin ppv and I know it will blackout the live version since I live in alabama.

I looked it up and it is in HD...

Earle, where did you find that? They may be shooting the games in HD, but Dish is apparently not broadcasting them in HD. At least right now, the channel Dish has allocated for the SJS game is SD, not HD.

Does anyone know if this game will be on ESPN's gameplan service? I have dish like several of the other posters and noticed that you can order the single game for $35 or a single weekend of gameplan for $24. I had gameplan last year and got to see all of the bama games (wasn't one of them ppv).

If you are in Alabama, more than likely it will be blacked out on gameplan.

I just looked on Direct and it will not be in HD unless I can get the channel 787-1 which I don't think I can.

I am in OK, so bama games are not blacked out here, i just can't find a list of games scheduled to be on GAMEPLAN ... espn's link doesn't work and its not listed yet on dish or directtv that i can find. I get a discount if I order Gameplan today, so just trying to find out if I can get it that way or if i am gonna have to go the ppv route.

This page tells you what ESPN is broadcasting where (including GamePlan): NCAA College Football Scores and Schedules - ESPN

I rented it from Comcast HSV this morning. It was $34.95 for SD and $44.95 for HD. I bit for the HD, since it'll be the only PPV this year...

OK, gotcha. It's probably just not going to be offered in HD for Dish customers. If it was, I'd jump all over it.

To the person in Muscle Shoals with comcast. Here in Tuscaloosa it still says $39.95. You're lucky. I wish it were only $16
