Tide down 3-2 after 5. Bama scored first on back-to-back walks followed by a King double. Another run scored on a sac-fly by Robinson. That's all the Tide could muster. Finnery gave up a three-run homer. 3-2 South in the 6th.

Tie game going to bottom of the 6th. USA lifted their starter, Nightengale, after a one-out walk to Gentry. Reliever #1 gave up single to King and walk to Williamson and Reliever #2 gives up sac-fly to Robinson. Morris strikes out to end it. USA pitching has issued 8 walks and both of Bama's hits belong to King. Tide has had bases loaded twice and haven't gotten the big hit to capitalize yet.
RBI triple for Holcombe to give Bama 4-3. USA has allowed 10 walks but only 3 hits. Finnerty went 6 and Cobb on the hill in relief.
Breaux and Auerbach have back-to-back single to put another across. Now, we're talking.

I was a little worried when we wasted most of the walks. We stuck with it, though.
Bama wins 7-3. Cobb took the last 3 innings on the mound so we only had to use 2 pitchers with DH tomorrow.
