They haven’t brought any RT’s in for a visit either so it appears we are going with Formby….hopefully he’s gotten a lot better
From all reports Formby has gotten stronger and his technique is better. He has the perfect build for an OT so hoping he has developed. This was a quote during spring.

"You know one of his things was the physical part just like any young offensive lineman. Tip of the cap to Dave Ballou and his staff. Nobody does it better anywhere in the country than them," DeBoer said. "Where Wilkin's at now compared to where he was at physically last year, there's a big body of work that's been done. And I thought even just, if you just take run blocking, Wilkin had to work a ton at pad level, hand placement, just being able to engage people when he is obviously a longer player. And I thought you could see the physical development with him."

The article I saw had a somewhat different take on it:

**********
Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer was asked about the report concerning Milroe. While the head coach did not totally refute the statements made, he does believe they are a bit overblown.

“I’ve heard that same quote, and I think the word all is used,” DeBoer said. “So whenever absolutes are used like that, I kind of question it right there. Like the words never and always and all, I think that’s a little far-fetched. I don’t think we would have lost all of our receivers for anything.”

**********

That's classic deflection: he really only refuted using the word "all".

He's right in that absolutes are very rarely true, but he didn't deny the premise that Nilroe returning might have caused some/many/significant transfers. By taking the approach he did, he kinda conceded there could have been a challenge there.

On the positive side, CKD also talked about Nilroe working hard to unite people, etc before going into coach speak about where he can improve and such.
Can you stop saying Niltroe. It's disrespectful to him as a person. And plus adding the N is not exactly good idea.

Youve shared lot of specific details which I found interesting 🤔 but at end of the day, he's in NFL. All of this is now in the past. We have gotta move on from all of this. All we do is rehash lot of things directed at Milroe and it's not fair. Some of the other players on the team were involved as well. So I don't understand why he's the one catching all of the heat.

Summer workout is coming up soon. I'm excited about the team we'll get to see this fall. Lot of new faces on offense. I'm super excited to see what the offense will look like now that coaches are installing more offense.
