Great job by Kody and a awesome job by Matthes to work a walk. Great at-bat by the freshman. Paiml had a tough night in the field but made up big with the dinger. Hunter was a warrior out there and D-ROB was amazing in relief. Great team win despite some bad breaks and great 2-out 2strike hitting.

The mark of a championship team is finding a way even when things seem 2 be going bad. The crowd was remarkable, wish I could've been there but great to watch on CT.

Oh yes, I hate it for Hunter because he did deserve the win. Robertson pitched great but just got that bad break on that bad hop. I still cant believe they pitched to Kody, I thought for sure they would walk him. Told my dad I liked our chances to win if they pitched to him and sure enough they did. Now we just need that win tomorrow and get ready for the super!

I really think these guys can get to Omaha, they just don't give up and our pitchers seem to find a way to work out of every jam they get into. They held a very potent lineup in check and if not for the errors we probably don't have 2 win it in the ninth, but hey 1 more win sure beats needing 3.

With our pitching we have a great chance at Omaha. All we need is 3-4 runs a game and it would be very hard to beat us...

UNC is looking tough. Hopefully we will get through this tomorrow night. The Tar Heels seem to be hitting everything in sight. They whipped Winthrop today. Was kind of hoping they would make UNC win three or we could exact some revenge for earlier in the year :cool2:

That time of year where you have to beat the great teams because the good ones are gone.

I'm not so sure there is great pitching in that regional other than UNC. Look at some of those scores, I dont think pitching is the strong point with those teams:biggrin:

Wow... we dodged some SERIOUS bullets tonight, but talk about a great finish! I was glad I had the night off from summer camp so I could see this one. It was great to see the team not let the errors and Troy's power hitting get them down. Roll Tide!
