Does anyone know any prospects that we have a good chance at in 2010? 2011? I know we're in on JUCO top player Ricardo Ratliffe. What about Luke Cothron for the 2010 who is a soft commit to NC state? He played at Butler in Huntsville, Alabama for a few years. I'm just wondering because we desperately need some big men to have depth and can give our bigs a break.

If we had a few more big men, it would open up our outside shot. This was one of CMGs problems. We either had too many big men or too many guards.

I asked Bill King of Rivals Radio about our recruiting, and he didn't sound very positive......

Grant will live and die with his recruiting prowess. He can coach, but can he recruit? No homeruns yet. Coach that can do both will win a lot at Alabama.

Look for CAG to snag some of the top talent IN STATE the next two years. especially next year, look for Levi Randolph and maybe Trevor Lacey to head to bama to play. Rumors are Levi really likes Bama, and GOD i hope so cause this kid has crazy talent as a guard, whether it's at the point or shooting guard. He reminds me so much of Kobe the way he plays because he creates his own shot from anywhere on the court. Lacey is a maybe because i have not heard anything otherwise that would say he's a lock or he's a gonner. His game is a lot like Lebron. He dishes the ball well, shares the rock, but takes over when the game is on the line, and also like Lebron, has trouble consistently shooting the 3. He gets to the foul line a lot, and the best part about that is he makes his free throws! Look for Josh Langford from Lee to sign this year if he doesn't go with Georgia, and look for his cousin Devon as a possibility next year along with Randolph and Lacey. Another surprise and under rated talent out of the huntsville area is a kid from Sparkman named Kendall Jennings to sign this year. Long and athletic and can shoot the 3, reminds me of Tayshaun Prince.

Gosh, just sign someone. 2 players is not near enough for this class.

I don't see us going too hard after Kendall Jennings. He is as athletic as they come but he is a lazy player, always walking back on offense and defense. I wouldn't be opposed to signing him but i think there are better players out there we should go after.
