On a positive note however, ALL of the computer rankings have the Irish near the bottom. That team is NOT as good as they think they are.

Look at the computer rankings for the Barn!

1 USC
2 Texas
3 Va Tech
4 Georgia
5 Alabama

So we need FSU or Miami to beat Va Tech ( if FSU gets to the championship game) Texas to stuble on TT. We beat Ga and stop USC from the three-peat we were screwed out of twice before. It is possible, we have made history many times before. Who better to stop them that Alabama.

What is Billingsley's problem with Alabama?!?

He has TCU, The Ohio Ain't, and Wisconsin (among others) ranked stronger.

That's a buncha hooey.

Well, to the BCS' credit they drop out the highest and lowest computer ranking and average the remaining. So the Billingsley ranking does not have an impact on our score.

If you look at barneys scores it speaks for itself.

What will you say if we win out and the AP votes us #1?

I agree...lol. I still consider USC to have won the national championship that year, along with LSU. The AP was the major crowning poll for many years so what makes any difference now? Nobody said, "The BCS is now in place so the AP shouldn't matter." Nobody controls the AP and I personally think the AP is the main reason we'll get the BCS taken out. The AP split the national championship AND pulled out of the BCS. Maybe one of these days the BCS will take a hint.
