Bicycle riders

I have never tried a mirror. Seems like it would be too shaky.

Never been a problem with the one I use........

$14.85 from Amazon. I've bought 5 of them (so far) for my various bikes.

Firm believer of having a mirror. For the same exact reasons I use all my mirrors in my car/truck while on the road.

Super easy to install - self-explanatory - but let me know if you have questions or need any advice.

Atlanta joins cities such as Denver and Boston that have launched their own e-bike rebate programs. Atlanta’s program is being administered by the Atlanta Regional Commission (ARC) and Propel ATL, a transit advocacy group, using local taxpayer dollars donated by the city.

Three-quarters of the rebate funds are reserved for those earning at or below 80% of the region’s median household income, currently about $54,000 a year for one person or $77,000 for a four-person family. Income-qualified residents are eligible for a $1,500 instant rebate on a standard e-bike and $2,000 for a cargo e-bike.

Residents who do not qualify for the larger discount based on income can still get $500 for a standard e-bike and $1,000 for a cargo e-bike.

When I started riding again a couple of weeks ago my sit bones were really hurting. Taking too much time off is tough. Anyone have suggestions to help with this? I have good riding shorts and a good seat but man.

I think it's just going to be a process getting your body reacquainted with the movements and actions associated with cycling.

Start off with short rides and then little by little extend them.

Pain medications also help. Advil, Aleve, Tylenol, etc.

Motrin now make a dual action product that has both Advil and Tylenol together:

Amazon

It works wonders!

Safe riding @Con !

i've been able to get over 130 miles in the last two weeks with about 9.5k ft of climbing, all riding around the city.

heading to the pisgah national forest (near asheville) friday for a mtb weekend. it's going to kick my ass, but it should be enjoyable and hopefully the ramp up in miles this last few weeks will help.

Bring along extra brake pads for Pisgah, especially if you're in the Brevard area of the forest. It was ages and ages ago but a buddy and I both burned through new pads in a long weekend up there. Tsali, over near Bryson City about 90 minutes from Brevard is also awesome. Have fun!
