I don't know if Leo could. Heck, I don't know if ANYONE could.
Remember, Bobby was the GM of the Braves before he became the manager. He has hired EVERY significant player in their organization. Bobby manages every aspect of the organization, all the way through the minor leagues. What he has put in place in the Braves organization has never been tried before.
They don't manage minor league teams as islands unto themselves. All of the Braves teams are a part of Bobby's "expanded" roster, and they all follow Bobby's system. He talks to the other managers daily, and gives instructions on next steps for each player with team goals in mind - not individual development. He really has revolutionized the art of managing a major league baseball franchise. The only hang-up, it takes 5 years with the same manager to GET STARTED. Most managers only last 3 years in today's game. When Bobby retires, will the Braves be able to hold the system together?
