He should have been pulled after the first single so Lee could face the lefty. That’s what a smart manager would have done. Inning could have ended with only a runner on first.

Instead he lets one of our worst relievers face the lefty, a reliever who has done nothing but get you in trouble instead of out of trouble all year. We end up in a nail biter with runners on the corners.

It worked out in the end but Snit proves over and over that he is one of the worst in game managers.

But if Iglesias had let the leadoff guy on Snit would have been an idiot for putting him in the game. And then if he had let the second batter reach he would have been an idiot for leaving him in the game. And if he had gotten the 4th guy out Snit would have had success in spite of himself. And if Lee had let Soto get a big hit Snit would have been an idiot for not leaving Iglesias in. And on and on and on. I get you don’t like him. I’m not really defending him. But it is tiresome.

Well, he is an idiot for using Iglesias. The dude sucks and puts trouble on the bases almost every outing. I’d never use him again.

I would not have said the bolded if Lee had not gotten Soto out. Blame would still be Snit for leaving Iglesias out too long and putting Lee in that situation.

That Albies at bat in the 9th is one of the weakest at bats I’ve seen all year. Pathetic effort.

I love Allen’s defense but it is not worth the hit you take every time his spot comes up in the lineup. Same goes for Harris.

Can we DH for one of them and let our pitchers hit. They’d probably accidentally do better.

You could live with Allen in the lineup just for the defense if the other two weren't also stinking it up at the plate.

Agreed. Allen's defense is strong enough that he's put up 0.8 WAR despite the poor offensive profile.

Conversely, Michael Harris II has now crossed into negative WAR territory (-0.1) in spite of his defensive prowess, which speaks to just how poorly he is swinging the bat. Even in a game where guys make it to the HOF for failing 7 out of 10 times, it still feels like MH's spot in the lineup is a black hole.

As for Albies, his defense is about league average, and his slash line is meh, so his WAR is 0.4. Frankly at $5 million per year, you'll take that contract and hope that he gets hot and outperforms his value as he has done for so many years, but he's been truly tough to watch this season.

Riley K rate is highest since rookie year and BB rate is lowest since rookie year. When are we going to look at the hitting coach?
