Seems Glavine might not be missed at all now. The Braves trade for Russ Ortiz and signed Paul Byrd just now. Their starting staff looks very solid with those two, Maddux, Millwood and Hampton. They will have Smoltz, probably Hodges, Holmes, Marquis, the new lefty King, Grabowski (spell??) and Lightenburg (spell??) again in the pen. They maybe sign a non-tendered lefty or two this week after Friday and they should have a pretty solid staff. They still need another bat. I would love to have Jeff Kent on third or at first. Losing Helms is not a real loss in my book.
